At jct 36 turn onto A614 (1st exit at roundabout) at the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A645 signposted Drax. At the next roundabout take 1st exit signposted Selby and the site entrance is about 150m on the right.

Almost certainly built under the direction of the monk Hugh, responsible for building much of nearby Selby Abbey, St Wilfrid's displays its impressive Norman heritage in its massive tower, elaborately carved south doorway and magnificent chancel arch.

The volunteer members of the Doncaster and District Model Engineering Society (MES) operate the miniature railway in Thorne Memorial Park.
